About ASKQU
Music has been part of my life since I was seven years old, when I started playing the piano. Since then, I have been interested in all kinds of music and have always enjoyed discovering different sounds, styles and ideas.
Over time, I became increasingly interested in creating my own music. Recently, I have focused especially on electronic and EDM-inspired music, exploring melodies, rhythms, atmosphere and the stories that music can tell without words.
I am currently 14 years old, and Seek a Place is my first album, created during the summer of 2026. For me, music is a way of turning ideas, emotions and imagined places into sound.
I am still exploring, learning and finding my own direction — and perhaps that is exactly where my journey as ASKQU begins.

Seek a Place

Seek a Place tells the story of a Traveller on a new adventure. At the same time, creating this album became the beginning of ASKQU's own journey to find a direction in music.
It is a collection of nine tracks that follow a journey from emptiness and uncertainty towards discovery, reflection and, finally, arrival. The journey begins with Hollow Again, surrounded by a sense of emptiness. From there, the traveller moves through unfamiliar places, memories, cold and difficult landscapes, ancient worlds and moments of reflection.
As the journey continues, the path becomes clearer. There are still obstacles, but also moments of beauty, rest and hope. By the final track, Arrival, the journey reaches its destination.
The album is also personal in another way. While creating these tracks, I was exploring my own musical direction. In the same way that the traveller gradually finds a path forward, I feel that by the end of Seek a Place, I had found a direction that feels like a meaningful beginning for my journey as a composer and music creator.
Seek a Place is not about having all the answers. It is about searching, moving forward and eventually finding where you want to go.

- 02Into Something Old and NewPlayA new adventure begins, but something feels strangely familiar. The track combines the excitement of discovering something new with echoes of the past, reflected in its title and raw 8-bit, old-school EDM-inspired sound.
- 03DialsPlayInspired by watch faces and the constant movement of time, this track captures the feeling of time passing and never standing still.
- 04Absolute ZeroPlayThe traveller accidentally finds himself in a cold, empty and hostile environment.
- 05Greek MythologyPlayInspired by Homer's Odyssey, this track explores an ancient and mythical atmosphere through an electronic soundscape. A flute-like sound appears throughout the piece as a tribute to those who have fallen.
- 06StrivingPlayAfter overcoming many obstacles, the traveller looks inward and realises that the journey must continue. It is a track about determination, effort and the will to keep moving forward.
- 07Taken by the LakePlayThe beauty of a lake captures the traveller's attention, creating a moment of wonder and stillness during the journey.
- 08Late WelcomePlayThe traveller can finally rest. The destination has not yet been reached, but there is a growing feeling that it is now close.
- 09ArrivalPlayThe final destination. After the journey through uncertainty, obstacles and discovery, Arrival represents the release and culmination of everything that came before.
